Gainesville has been working toward Vision Zero for years — a commitment to eliminating traffic deaths and serious injuries by designing safer streets and slowing dangerous driving. And like clockwork, every step toward safer streets brings pushback. The proposed one-way pair on W 10th and W 12th is no exception.
We strongly support this project. It will calm traffic, improve safety, and create more predictable streets for everyone. We want the City Commission to approve it on Thursday.
